Nedre Foss, 2022

After many sketches we realized that we were circling in on the contours of a traditional round basket. The big, semi-circular handle rising from the rounded tray reminded us of this ancient object.   Let’s say that Korg has two different souls: the useful one and the sculptural one. We find it an intriguing object; different for sure, not quirky and hopefully practical as well.

Nedre Foss is a Norwegian brand of sustainable homeware objects rooted in Nordic design.
They make objects that they hope will stay relevant and serve you for at least 100 years – objects that we find equally sculptural and useful.
