PiMar, 2012

Piro has been designed with the intention of creating a well – dened rigorous microenvironment around the fire which, on the contrary, is an evanescent element. The central element of the collection is a hybrid object, half brazier and half low table and seat. A thin metal frame denen with a series of subtle signs, not only the object but also the space for using and highlights the important presence of the stone material.

The asymmetry suggests function intuition: on the one hand the space carved in Piromafo (stone resistant to high temperatures) contains fire and embers, on the other side a thin vertical “lter” mark the area of the plan; a replace poker made in bent metal sheet is integrated with the structure blending with it. To complete the project, with the same aesthetic code, a stool and a couple of large pots.
